10/10 ! I ordered the Steak Gyro & it came with cheese fries . The cheese has a spicy kick to it, which I don't mind at all . It was a 15 minute wait for the food, so I recommend ordering your food ahead of time online, to avoid the wait .
That the place needs repairs and a grand reopening. It's not a very romantic setting and I don't recommend you take anyone there on their first date. Currently there's only one table and the community while nice is quiet.
Cool spot in Homewood. Both the hibachi and deep fried cheeseburgers are excellent and their lemonade is definitely worth trying as well. If you like Hibachi, I consider this a must-try!
My first time ordering from Shumans Homewood and I was not disappointed. If you want a steak salad, I mean a good steak salad with all the fixings, real steak, fresh cut fries, this place will not disappoint you! The serving size was large enough for three meals. Trust, I will be back!
Due to the COVID outbreak, we decided to order takeout from Shumans the other night. I ordered cheese fries and my husband ordered chicken hibachi. The food was delivered quickly. Whew, the portions are VERY generous; definitely enough for a couple meals. Everything tasted so good too. I've heard good things about Shumans and now I am definitely a fan! I can't wait to try other menu items in the future!
OK so I was minding my own business strolling through Facebook and I see an ad featuring food from Shaumans. I had no idea it was in Pittsburgh. I have never heard of the place. So I scroll through their FB page and see how scrumptious the food looked. Mind you I am pro quarantine. I thought people were insane for eating out with the conronavirus running a muck. Anyway I live almost 40 mins away(Butler). My sister and I grabbed our hand sanitizer and Lysol and off we went. The lady that work there was soooo nice. Very pleasant. I ordered the rice,steak,shrimp, and broccoli with cheese. My sister had the fried shrimp and cheese fries. The food was amazing. It was worth the drive. Seasoned to perfection. Amazing! Try the yum yum sauce you will not be disappointed. Everything was so delicious. Massive portions too. They have this slushie drink that is to die for. I will definitely be back. If I could give 6 stars I would.
just had one of the absolute BEST grilled chix hoagie ive ever eaten....tender, succulent meat....sauteed onions and mushrooms....banana peppers....jalapenos and lettuce....all on a delicious hoagie roll....came with mayo which ive never had on a chix hoagie so thought id give it a try...absolutely fantastic and i will definitely b back... and reasonably priced to boot!
I've never tasted such delicious pizza or chicken. Shuman's has elevated these everyday favorites to real masterpieces. The fresh and perfect pizza is better than any I've tried. Wow! And the breakfast items are perfection. Try the cheese omelet or warm, sugar-dusted French toast. Every item is simply scrumptious. Shuman's is our new go-to spot for wonderful homemade foods. We're on a mission to try everything on the menu. What a Pittsburgh treasure!
